Golf..Oh My!

Played today at Cherry Hills Golf Club. Been playing there since this summer. Finally met the Head Golf Professional, Doug MacDonald. Looks like I found a playing partner. Will probably play on Friday afternoons.

Also met one of the members, Margie. Today was kind of sad for her because her husband died 9 years ago today. Her husband was a professional golfer who hung around Ben Hogan. She has lots of pictures. I didn't ask her age, but she looks to be in her 70's. She plays pretty good for her age. She lives in Sun City, but is moving to Hemet. I think in the same mobile park as Lisa's parents. A small world.

Shot 73 today. Felt kind of weird playing. Not too comfortable, but hit the ball okay.

Heard on the TV that VJ was in the lead. Looks like he will take the number one spot from Woods. Good for him. Now I just need Mickelson to do the same. Go guys!!

Welcome

Me and a weblog. Well I guess I have to leave some kind of legacy. At least to tell my family what goes on in my crazy head. I'll have to admit, I wasn't a fan of web logs, but it seems that it is catching on and I do have things to write about. Not necessarily about me, but stuff in general. I also write for Pearl Soup, but haven't done much writing lately. In fact I only have two entries.

Suffice to say that I will eventually do more writing. Oh when will I ever get the time...

So much to say, so little time. Sometimes the enormous amount of resources available to everyone just makes it even harder.

Most of my posts will be about my family, golf and anything else I can think of. And comment on anything I mention. However, make your comments clean.

Remember, stay alert, keep your balance, try not to hurt anyone, play fair and always have fun.
